Curse you, Steve Jobs
I switched from PC to an iMac in Sept 2005, and have been quite, quite happy in my new Window-less existence. In March 2006 due to circumstances beyond my control, I purchased the bottom-of-the-line iBook because I needed a laptop; naturally, with a month or two, the iBook was warehoused and the newer, better MacBook trotted out.
Cue to last month.
I generously passed my iBook on to Twin B, so he would have email and intertubes access while on Americorps. Anyway, this gave me the chance to purchase a new MacBook, the elegant black one (I'm shallow, so sue me).
I'm sure you can see where this is going, because at the time, last month, I even said to my spouse: "I wonder what utterly cool upgrade they'll come out with because I bought this?"
