Cliches I Have Loved
Dec. 17th, 2008 08:26 pmOver on SFNovelists, I have posted Cliches I Have Loved as my monthly post. I missed November and October due to Life, but I am making an attempt to once again meet my obligations.
I seriously considered writing a follow-up post to Marie Brennan's excellent post of two days ago, There's Something About Monarchy which is itself a riff further on to recent Deep Genre posts on fantasy, politics, monarchy, and class.
But I realized I needed more time to write about anthropology, social organization, and assumptions about monarchy in history and fantasy--like it's a complex subject, or something--so I'll have to work on that post and post it later, likely on Deep Genre.
