I've just received a PRS-505 (Sony eReader). Whoo!
Because I use a Mac exclusively, I downloaded calibre and immediately transferred a couple of rtf files (manuscripts) and pdf files to the eReader. I figured I could afterward use my spouse's PC to do all the stuff to install their program "eBook Library", register, and start importing books.
Now, reading through the FAQ of calibre (a really sweet little program, I might add), I find this:
You should not use both calibre and Connect to transfer books to the reader.
Does that refer specifically and only to the Sony Connect (mostly music) online store? Can I still install eBook Library and import books viat the regular Sony eBook store without hanging up my reader?
