I am 90% done with a post on Authorial Intent, although I'm not sure when I'll post it.
Due to several requests, I am poking at what will certainly prove to be a long and possibly multi part post on the Revisions Process, but don't hold your breath. It will take me a while, will not be definitive, and even once I complete a first draft it will need revision before I can post it!
I would like to open this up to questions. If you have any questions for me, on any topic (although naturally I reserve the right to refuse to answer some questions), comment here. If such questions include spoilers for any of my novels, make sure to flag them.
Finally, Daughter, Twin B and his Adorable Girlfriend, and I watched Shutter Island, which I recommend. Well directed, well acted, and with layers, it is that very rare thing: a film I want to watch again in order to see how the story and plot are layered in to get the effect they do. The last line makes the film, and Daughter and I actually discussed the film the next day, a couple of different times. I don't see many films this interesting coming out of the Hollywood industry these days (forex, I loathed Iron Man 2 and found Avatar to be shallow and poorly-thought-through although it was Pretty).
